What sets Poets In Paradise apart from many other artists is that founding member Stevie Adams is not interested in accentuating his considerable guitar skills. Instead, his focus is on serious composing and arranging (and looking after the needs of Iggy, who happens to be his cat and best friend!). He knows when “enough is enough”, and always plays tastefully to serve the song.
Aside from their numerous album and single releases, the main focus of Poets In Paradise is composing music for Film, Television, Advertising, and Interactive Media Sync licensing. Their work has been featured on Fox, ABC, NBC, the Los Angeles Emmy Award Shows, the Ani-FX Animation Festival, and countless other projects. Stevie's guitar work can be heard on the Ubisoft video game "Red Steel" for composer Tom Salta, the Mattel animated character "Max Steel" for composer David Raiklen, and in the documentary film "Sin By Silence" for composer Desha Dunnahoe.
Current projects include final mastering of 3 new singles to be released soon, and a full-length CD that will include several new works. Stevie is also re-mastering select songs from his previous albums (and some unheard archives) that will be included on a separate CD release under the name Poets In Paradise.
